Mr. & Mrs. Matthews ran the Catterick Bridge Hotel in the early 1950's. They had a son & daughter, Annette & Michael. Annette, the youngest, attended Richmond Convent school. Michael had an 'outhouse' that contained a large collection of Meccano - his main hobby.
