Luther Paxton 
Soldier of the Great War

Luther Paxton was my great Uncle and he served in the Green Howards during WW1 along with his brothers. He was wounded in 1915 and spent several months at Kettering Volunteer Aid Detachment (VAD) hospital. This photo album is from that time. Luther is also mentioned - at length - in another publication on this site - the 1948 Diary of Elsa Paxton - his American sister-in-law.
